Super busy working on a sculpture the past two evenings, so I’m going to post some art I already have done. Here’s the Kaworu drawing from my Eva angel zine! I played around with a bunch of photoshop brushes I rarely use with this one.
(Also, sorry the tone pattern is wonky looking, it was formatted for print and doesn’t take kindly to being shrunk down for web)

Anonymous asked: your book is AMAZING, altho, you forgot the 18th angel which is humanity itself, it would be even cooler if you draw shinji askuka rei etc etc on the last page

Ah yes, wasn’t quite sure how to represent that one and the way the book was set up it fit 17 images exactly, so I had to omit it.

If I ever do a second printing I’m going to redo some stuff and maybe figure out how to do that one! (I kinda wish I could do reflective mirror-like paper and it be like the “and the monster is YOU” stuff from children’s books.)

You’re SO GOOD at making books. It hurts my brain to think about how good at books you are

Aww thank you Rachel! ;u; I really enjoy making minis, I didn’t really know I would be good at it until I started making them in March, but I’ve been having a lot of fun learning all the ways to bind them, and used the mini comic class this summer to push my skills. I’ve always kinda liked making packaging, so it’s that combined with comics!

After weeks of work, my Evangelion angel zine is finally done! It’s 17 pages of illustrations with a giant almost 17” centerfold and a double layered die-cut cover and removable band.

I drew all 17 angels from the original anime, each one in a different art/inking style. Had a lot of fun, tried a bunch of new things.

I’ll be posting some of the illustrations online eventually, but they’re really meant to go all together in the book package, so if you’re interested it’s up on my Storenvy shop for only $8.00! I have a limited number of them and probably won’t print it again unless there’s a high demand, since it’s so hard to make.

CHARMS PRE-ORDER!

Finally finished the other charm designs, here’s the GOTG set! This is a pre-order so they won’t ship until I get them in early September, but they’re 1.5” clear acrylic charms that will have a cellphone charm style strap. Like the other charms, of you pre-order they’ll come with a special mini-print.

You can either buy them individually or in a pair with any of my previous charms.

I have a Rocket Raccoon and Groot charm design I’m going to try and finish up tonight, but I’m still waffling about if I want to do him on wood or acrylic. But I figured GOTG was a separate fandom enough that those charm designs should get a different post from the Avengers ones. So if you were interested in the Rocket design I posted earlier stay tuned. :>
